For Immediate Release – Wilmington, NC – June 15, 2012 –
The Royal Council of Real Fairyland announced today that Creative Child Magazine has honored the Real Tooth Fairies Kindness Kit in its 2012 awards program. The Kindness Kit is the foundation of an online Kindness program that inspires girls ages 5-10 to do kind acts within their families and communities to make the Earth a better place. The online program Every Kindness Counts and the Kindness Kits can be found at The Real Tooth Fairies family website at www.therealtoothfairies.com/kindness.
Creative Child Magazine’s Awards Program is unique in that all products submitted are reviewed by moms and educators at a two-day event attended by more than 100 guest reviewers. “We’re thrilled that Creative Child has presented us with this honor,” says Marilyn Bollinger, President of the Real Tooth Fairies, LLC, “The fact that real parents are involved in the evaluation process is really important to us, because no one knows children like their parents.”
In order to be considered for the 2012 Kids Product of the Year Award, a product has to stand out as nurturing a child’s creativity, which is one of the goals of the Real Tooth Fairies Kindness Kits. “Every Kindness Counts is a program that girls and parents love,” says Bollinger, “both for the positive values, but also for the creative solutions the girls come up with to achieve their goals.” The program includes a motivating system of picking Kindness Tickets to do, and when kind acts are completed, the girl moves up 8 Kindness levels. Girls are encouraged and rewarded for doing kind acts in their home, community and the world. They can even create their own Kindness Tickets.
“Parents are amazed by how excited girls become about doing kindness.” says Bollinger. Not only do girls get the satisfaction of performing an individual kindness, they can go on the website and see how their kind act has changed the daily kindness score on Planet Earth. Each time a girl does a kindness, the Earth’s Glow Score goes up by one – so girls can help ensure that kindness wins every day. It becomes very clear that every kindness they do really does count.
Here’s how to get started being a hero for kindness with these magic tooth fairies. First, the girl joins the online world at www.TheRealToothFairies.com – for free. She takes the Royal Quiz, which gets her matched up to her Real Tooth Fairy. In so doing, she discovers that the six Real Tooth Fairies are revealing themselves and their world to Earthies so kids will be heroes for kindness and change the world.
To begin the Every Kindness Counts Program, a girl goes to the Kindness Station on the website to pick her first kind act (in the form of Kindness Tickets). She then does that kindness in her family or community. When she marks a Kindness Ticket as DONE in her online record, she earns a Kindness Award Ribbon and she’s off and running, working her way up through various levels such as “Ladybug” and “Butterfly” and earning Kindness ribbons for each kind act and a Kindness charm for each new Kindness Level she reaches. Girls love to watch their Kindness bracelet fill up with the Kindness charms.
The kindness program is just one of the many character-building activities found on the Real Tooth Fairies award-winning online world. With over 40 fairy settings and interactive content that builds character and confidence, www.therealtoothfairies.com/home is a fun place for girls to meet and interact with their Real Tooth Fairies. “Our site embraces the meaning and value of imagination,” says Bollinger, “We’ve designed it to be a safe, imaginative place for girls and their parents alike.”
Engaging stories, silly spells, virtual shopping and customized decorating, make-overs and fashion, sports and dream-building activities all entertain while helping a girl celebrate who she is with her own unique talents and goals. Most importantly, a girl gets to meet her very own Tooth Fairy and have a magical best friend who loves her!
