The Royal Council of Real Fairyland announced today that Creative Child Magazine has honored The Real Tooth Fairies with their 2012 Creative Play of the Year Award. The award is just the latest in a series of honors for the website for girls ages 5-10 that focuses on character-building, the 20 Lost Tooth Virtues, and the Every Kindness Counts program. The Real Tooth Fairies can be found at

Creative Child Magazine’s Awards Program is unique in that all products are reviewed by over 100 parents and educators at a two-day event. “We’re thrilled that Creative Child has honored us with this award,” says Marilyn Bollinger, President of The Real Tooth Fairies, “The fact that parents are involved in the evaluation process is really important to us, because no one knows what children like as much as their parents do.”

To be considered for the 2012 Creative Play of the Year Award, an activity or game has to stand out as nurturing a child’s creativity, which is one of the goals of The Real Tooth Fairies website. “Parents tell us they love having activities that entertain their girls, but that also inspire imagination and build their girls’ character,” says Bollinger, “This world celebrates what makes each girl unique.

One of the most popular activities is “Every Kindess Counts” where girls pick kind acts to do in their families. With Kindness Kits, the girls receive real Kindness Ribbons and find Kindness Charms left by their Tooth Fairy on their pillow to celebrate moving up 8 Kindness levels. Another favorite activity is the “Makeover Magic Game,” where a girl has a spa day with her Tooth Fairy, engaging in face painting and rainbow hair coloring. The “Pranky Pictures” game is a race to find how ways that pranky Stepella has changed the pictures in the fairy stories. But like all The Real Tooth Fairies games and activities, there’s more than meets the eye. Becoming a “beauty inside,” is even more important according to Bollinger, who is a licensed clinical social worker and workshop leader in family dynamics.

Other creative games include “Poof Potion Shop,” where a girl mixes up magical potions with her Tooth Fairy, In “Stepella’s Cookie Catch Game,” a girl has to keep Stepella’s Hiccup Cookies from reaching the Royal Ball. Then it’s off to the “Furry Res-Q Game,” where a girl helps a lost Furry find its way.

The Real Tooth Fairy games are just some of the many character-building activities found in the Real Tooth Fairies award-winning online world. With over 40 fairy settings and interactive content that builds character and confidence, is a fun place for girls to meet and interact with their Real Tooth Fairies. “Our site embraces the meaning and value of imagination,” says Bollinger, “We’ve designed the site to be a safe, creative place for girls and their parents alike.” Most importantly, a girl gets to meet her very own Tooth Fairy and have a magical best friend who loves her!
